Policies for returning items
You can initiate a return for new and unopened items for a full refund at any time (Lifetime Return Policy) You must return items in new or unused condition with all original materials included with the shipment. We inspect all returned items and award a partial refund for opened or used products. If the return is a result of retailer error or defect related, we will refund the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges.
*Note: Due to the nature of perishable items with expiration dates, our Lifetime Return Policy does not apply to perishable products (which include foods, medicines, and vitamin products).
Open items in salable condition are also covered by our Lifetime Return Policy at the discretion of our receiving manager. In general we strive to make our customers happy and will try to accept most items for life, but badly damaged items can not be accepted. Open item returns are subject to a 15% depreciation charge.
How to Return an Item
You must initiate the return by contacting support and requesting a return authorization number. PetsLess will then provide return shipping instructions to you. You can expect to receive your refund within three weeks of shipping your package back to us. In many cases you will receive a refund sooner, but we estimate three weeks because of the time required for return shipping (up to 14 days), product inspection, and processing from your bank or credit card company. We will issue your refund in the form of payment used to make your purchase if the purchase was relatively recent. Otherwise, refund payments are issued by check.
